Tradition will enable FSU Pikes every four years to:

– Reunite with brothers whom attended FSU Together
– Network with all brothers

To commemorate the 1st inaugural FSU Pike Quadrennial Reunion a composite photo for everyone who attends will be taken by a professional photographer. The names and initiation dates for each of the Pike brothers in the photo, will be included and identifiable at the bottom of the photo. The photo will be mounted in the PIKE house in perpetuity. This will enable the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of every brother who attends the inaugural event, to visit the FSU Pike house to view the photo of their father and grandfather, etc.

The Quadrennial Reunion is the most important tradition for the FSU Pikes to establish. For this reason, every brother who attends the event shall be deemed a founder. The quadrennial reunion should have been established by Frederick Southgate Tayor, Littleton Waller Tazewell, Benjamin Sclater, R. Robertson Howard and Julian Edward Wood when they founded Pi Kappa Alpha in March 1868.

Please note. The monthly “FSU Pikes Delta Lambda Newsletter” which is produced by Charlie Barnes (1968) and distributed monthly has _______ brother subscribers. The list consists of a fraction of Delta Lambda’s 3,196 initiates since the Chapter was founded in 1949. For example, from researching the list, it was determined that most of the brothers who are in close contacts with the Markowski’s were not subscribers.
